Terms of Service
1. Who can use Rally
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Rally. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.
2. Your account
You sign in through Apple or Google. You agree not to share your account, impersonate anyone, or create an account for someone else without permission. Let us know promptly at hello@rallytennis.io if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Playing tennis is at your own risk
Rally helps you find people to play with, but we don't organise, supervise, or vet the matches or players. You meet and play with other people at your own risk. Use common sense: meet at public courts, tell someone where you're going, and decide for yourself who you're comfortable playing with. Rally is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the court, or for any injury, loss, or dispute arising from a match.
4. Community rules
To keep Rally welcoming for everyone, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other players.
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or skill in bad faith.
- Spam, advertise, or use Rally for unauthorised commercial purposes.
- No-show repeatedly or otherwise act in a way that ruins the experience for others.
- Attempt to break, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create on Rally — your profile details, messages, and match information. By posting it, you grant us a limited licence to host, display and share it as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your profile to other players). You're responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
6. Our content and app
Rally, including its name, logo, design, and software, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or exploit any part of Rally without our permission.
7. Changes to the service
We're actively building Rally, so features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We may also update these terms. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Rally after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Rally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or us. Some provisions — like the disclaimers and limitations below — survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
Rally is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that it will find you a match. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rally and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury arising from your use of the app or from matches, interactions, or disputes with other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Apple App Store terms
Because you download Rally from the Apple App Store, you also agree that: this agreement is between you and Rally, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app; and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must also comply with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
